With whom does VertMarkets share my information?
If you are requesting assistance, product information, white papers, case studies, brochures, or registering for a webinar or event, your contact information may be shared with the developer of the relevant product, content, or software. Some materials that are available for download on VertMarkets' sites, like white papers, product demonstrations, case studies, product literature, and webinars or events, are offered in conjunction with a partner or sponsor company. This information is shared with the partner or sponsor company so that they may provide you with the material you requested. VertMarkets' customer agreements with partner companies: (a) provide that the partner company may use this information in marketing related activities to contact you via common methods of communication; and (b) prohibit disclosure of the information to any third party other than agents of the Content Sponsor for the permitted marketing purposes set forth above; and (c) use of this contact information and adherence to the laws of any/all countries is the responsibility of the partner company. Is My Information Always Shared?
VertMarkets registration and acceptance to terms is now divided into two parts. (a) Acceptance to our Terms and Service . This acceptance is required to view or access any site content. Though free to access, this consent is still required. (b) Acceptance to our Privacy Policy which dictates when, how, and if your contact information can be shared, is not required to view or access site content. Consent consists of two checkboxes updated during our GDPR Compliance efforts.
If you would like us to forward your requests to our network of vendors to help you with you project needs or services, you can choose to do so by accepting our Privacy policy when registering. More about GDPR and CCPA may be found at the end of this document.
Promotional offers
Any individual who signs up to receive one of our newsletters will be giving VertMarkets permission to send promotional offers for select VertMarkets' products. Vertmarkets endeavors to promote to you products and services that are relevant and that we feel you would have a legitimate interest in hearing about. These products or services may include content newsletters, research reports, events and training seminars. You can opt out from receiving these promotions at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the offer email.
In order to process these internal promotions VertMarkets may share your information, such as an email address with certain suppliers who are in contact with Vertmarkets. (i.e. an email service provider).
